My friend Lucia showed me a book of animals that someone gave her and told me: take a look at it, is incredible but sadly it is full of cut outs...
While looking at it, I realized that because of the spaces left by the cuts new unexpected compositions emerged. This are some of them that I scanned and cleaned to expose the visual matches. They remind me of the concept "visual weeds" that I developed in my thesis where I questioned the way we perceive order and beauty. Also, I find it interesting as an example of a palimpsest.
